Green ToolBox

GTECH Strategies in partnership with  Western Pennsylvania Conservancy developed the Green Toolbox to offer guidance to communities in Pittsburgh’s Hilltop area, specifically in the neighborhoods of Allentown, Arlington, Arlington Heights, Beltzhoover, Bon Air, Carrick, Knoxville, Mt. Oliver Borough, Mt. Oliver (city) and St. Clair,  that are interested in developing a comprehensive approach to greening tactics.

The report includes:

• recommendation of greening activities, including projected costs and effort, sustainability predictions, and suggestions for potential partners
• community profiles and assessment of vacant land on each of the 10 hilltop area neighborhoods
• maps of the Hilltop’s vacant land and parking, parks and cemeteries, and gateways
